• Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar hold the record of most hundred run partnership in test matches. They have put on 20 hundred runs partnership together in test matches. 

• Australian team holds the record of most consecutive wins in Tests. They have won 16 test matches on row twice in history of Test Cricket.

•  Mohd. Yusuf holds the record of scoring highest run in a calendar year. He scored 1788 runs in year 2006.

• Muthaiya Muralitharan is leading wicket taker in test cricket history. He took 800 test wickets in his test cricket career for Sri Lanka.

• Shane Warne holds the record of most wickets in a calendar year. He took 96 wickets in year 2005.

• South African cricketer Jacques Kallis holds the record of winning most Man of the match awards in Test cricket. He won it 23 Times in his cricket career.

• Muthaiya Muralitharan holds the record of taking most 5 wickets and 10 wickets in test matches. He took 67 five wickets while 22 ten wickets in test career.

• South African wicket keeper Mark Boucher holds the record of most dismissals by a wicket keeper. He dismissed 555 batsmen in his test career.    

• Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene hold the record of highest partnership in test matches. They put on a partnership of record 576 runs against South Africa.

• Courtney Walsh of West Indies holds the record of most ducks in test career. He has 43 ducks in his account.
