Top 10 T20 Wicket Takers in Cricket of All Time

           

             Cricket is played in three different formats-Test, ODI and T20 across the world. Test match is a 5 day match, ODI is one day match and 50 overs per side while T20 is 20 overs a side match. Here we are going to look at the list of leading wicket takers in the world of t20 cricket. As this format of cricket is very new in comparison of the others formats so not many matches has been played in this format. But still there has been sufficient number of matches to make the list of top 10 wicket takers in the t20 cricket.

          Saeed Ajmal the right arm off-break spin bowler from Pakistan tops the list of top 10 wicket taking bowlers in T20 cricket. He is considered as the most dangerous spinner in T20 cricket due to his accuracy and control on line and length. He uses his "Doosra" very effectively in T20 format. He has very good economy just over 6 runs per over which is exceptional as T20 matches are generally very high scoring games. He is followed by the fellow Pakistani pacer Umar Gul who is just 5 wickets away from the top position.

         If we look at the list we get to see that top 3 positions belongs to the Pakistani cricketers. This easily shows why Pakistan cricket team has been so successful in T20 cricket. Pakistan is the only team to make semifinal of T20 world cup on four occasions out of the 5 editions of world cup.
