Sachin Tendulkar who is leading run scorer in test and ODI Cricket, is only Indian cricketer in this World XI team. Don Bradman led World XI test cricket team was declared to mark the 150th anniversary of Wisden Cricketers' Almanck.

This team looks pretty good but the greatest off-spinner Murali Muralitharan, most successful wicket-keeper Mark Boucher and greatest test skipper Ricky Ponting have failed to get a place in the squad. It can be understood as it is simply impossible to put in so many test cricket greats in the team of eleven but Wisden has done a great job.
